Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
by J.R. Tolkien

This fictional adventure story is so captivating that i read it twice. I know what your thinking... you could simply rent the movie and save yourself some time, but after the reading the first chapter alone you will be hooked. This story is about the battle for Middle-Earth between good and evil. I strongly recommend this novel (and the entire series of Lord of the Rings) to anyone searching for interesting novels about exciting things. This book is for Grades 8+ (Grades 8 and Up).

I just read the book Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. This book is fiction, and i would recommend this book to kids in seventh grade and up. The book Twilight was a very interesting book. It is about a girl, Bella, who goes to move into her father's house in Washington, and has to go to a new school. She falls in love with a vampire, Edward, at her school, but she does not know that he is a vampire, until a little while into the book. I liked this book because it keeps you in suspense, and grabs your attention. I never wanted to put the book down because it was so good.

Breaking Dawn, a novel by Stephen Meyer, is the final book to the Twilight series. Anyone has ever read anyone one of the Twilight books knows that you cannot stop reading them until you are completely done with the whole saga. So the last and final book, concludes the two main characters, Bella and Edward's, stories together and some unexpected events take place, where their future together might completely change. I very much enjoyed reading this book and I recommend that people read this love story fiction novel, however, read the first book before you read the last.

The Boy Next Door by Laura Dower is a fictional/romantic story about Jeff and Taryn. Jeff has been Taryn's next Door neighbor since the first grade. Taryn has had a crush on Jeff for forever and Jeff feels the same. However, both of the kids cant find the words to say "i like you" to each other.
Jeff finds himself sucked in by pear pressure and calls Taryn some hateful things. But one dance at the valentine ball can change everything.
If you like basic romance you will enjoy this book but it is very corny and predictable.
I would recommend this book for grades 6-7.
