Shadow of the Giant

This book is forth in the Bean Quartet series, by Orson Scott Card. In this book, the main character Bean must find his lost embryos, which have been scattered across the world by Achilles all the while while fighting in a world war. This book is amazing. Will interest those both interested in exterior conflicts and interior conflicts. Recommended. Contains violence, language, religious commentary, and mature themes. For grade 8.

Hello Readers,
I am Shane and I am reading a book called Jack Daws by Ken Follet, I recommend this book for 8th and 9th grade students. It is about a female secret agent that works for the English SS and tries to complete a variety of missions to destroy a German communications base. The book is a split screen and simultaneously talks about the German soldiers working in the communications base. I have not yet completed this book however, I know that this book is a thrill to read and contains lots of action. Please ask your parents before reading this book.

Lord Of The Flies.

Surprisingly, Lord Of The Flies, one of the most anticipated children's books, and one of the most well- recognized books in the history of children's literature, was finally read by HAMC. The book is extremely well made and much better then I had expected. The book, in fact, offers a lot. Personally,I thought the book never had a dull moment. A couple of Fruitless scenes reminded me of the cinematic production they tried to throw out, but in all fact, Lord of the Flies reaches as one of the best children's books and certaintly without hesitation, one of the best

The book Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson is a very interesting book. the book is written so that it gives away hints to what happened to her and why every body hates her and it tells about how her years is going which to tell you isnt to good but there are no chapters instead there are four making periods and it shows how she percive how she did in school subjects and the ones she up for herself. It is really an amazing book.

I read Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens. I do not recommend this book because it is long and some parts are boring. It is a good book, but I do not think that it is middle school level.
